We all do it…you find some awesome new product or great little hole in the wall restaurant and you just HAVE to tell everyone you know about it! Some people (like us) blog it, some folks share it on places like Yelp, or tweet it out to their friends on Twitter.
Then some people take it up a notch.
Carl Willat loves Trader Joe’s so much he created a fan video on YouTube as an homage to the store with “the beautiful mom’s in their yoga clothes” and “all your favorite stuff they don’t have anymore.” Impressively shot on his cell phone, the massively watched video has a catchy tune quickly gets stuck in your head without becoming incessantly annoying and makes me slightly nostalgic for when I actually lived close to a Trader Joe’s. We didn’t go there often because, well, a lot of stuff there was expensive, but they always had some fun shaped pasta or exotic fruit to entertain my kids. Starfruit anyone?
By the way, you know Carl? Not only did he sing the little ditty in the video, but you remember the Hershey Kisses commercial where the little kisses rang like bells to the tune of “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”? That was Carl’s work too!
