
We’re a cheese lovin’ family and I take full responsibility for it all. I love all kinds of cheese served in all kinds of ways. However, sometimes simple is the best way to go. Grilled cheese sandwiches are a classic that will surely remain a favorite, and this grilled cheese sandwich is the favorite of all time.
I like to look through the “day old” bread rack to find what might be marked down of the gourmet flavors. This particular loaf was parmesan italian bread which I could easily eat the entire thing all by myself, but decided I’d share for the sake of a scrumptious sandwich.
- Butter one side of each piece of bread and place one piece butter side down on a hot skillet or grill.
- Add layers of shredded monterey jack cheese and mozzarella, then add on a slice of American.
- Place remaining piece of bread, butter side up, on the cheese.
- Flip sandwich over and let it all grill to melted happpiness.
